In order to guarantee good service to tourists and continue to enhancing the competitiveness of its tourism sector, on 29 August 2012, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee signed Decision 1756/QD-UBND to issue its Action plan for the period of 2012 – 2020 to implement “Development strategy for Vietnam tourism to 2020, vision 2030” issued by the Prime Minister. The basic objective of the Action plan is to concentrate all resources for tourism development in a professional and modern manner. The province strives towards the goal of developing Ba Ria – Vung Tau into a large centre for relaxation and entertainment of Vietnam and the region by 2020.

Accordingly, by 2020, all the tourism investment projects which have been licensed will have been put into operation. There will be 60 standard hotels of 3-5 stars. Five identified tourism centres and areas including Vung Tau City, Long Hai – Phuoc Hai, Dinh Mountain – Ba Ria, Binh Chau – Ho Linh and Con Dao tourism areas. Beach tourism, sports and entertainment tourism, all strengths of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, will continue to be improved and become unique tourism products.

Multi-ID spammer, advertising Vietnamese tourism sites.

Report the user, through the option in their profile, and do not follow any of the links they post.

Well done Glen

It's a shame the administrators of this website are not doing
anything to prevent the amount on multi spammers hitting this site.

I'm sure in the days of Joerg monitoring activity on the site he
blocked multi spammers by IP address means.

Why are the administrators not following this type of protection.

Could Jimmy Dunne answer this for us ?

Eventually they do get sick of receiving the reports of spam users and do something about them, Neil.

Unfortunately, everytime the solution has been to restore the forums to a backup that was taken 2 years ago. Whilst this does get rid of the spam postings and the spammer's accounts, it also deletes any useful information that has been posted since the time they carried out such a restore operation.

The first time I saw it happen, I thought I'd lost 18 months of my life, and was hoping to be able to pass myself off as being under 50 again. Sadly, the latter didn't work. :D <_<

Then to add insult to injury, the spammers just appear again, within a very short time, under new aliases. :(
