We are once again to visit Luxor at the end of March. This will be for the 7th time. We notice that for preservation purposes some Tombs are not always open. There are some we have never been able to access. Does any one know how you can check which Tombs are open?

Just as you go through the gate there is a notice board with all the possible tombs you can visit and besides each one it says whether thye are open or closed. This does change and even ones that say they are open when you get there they can be closed.

My advice is o have your list and chek against the board. Then check with one of the guardians round the gate to make sure the boar dinformation is up to date.
