I returned from a long trip recently which involved spoending some time in Egypt. I was a bit concerned about the Egyptian leg of the journey as I was travelling with my parents (both almost 80) my wife and 4 kids (aged 7,7, 5 and 2) and I had heard some mixed reports about travelling in Egypt. I contacted Mohamed and he organised everything for us. I am very glad that I contacted Mohamed as he was completely reliable, very honest and extremely helpful. He organised everything for us (including an excellent driver - which was a big plus), he was alway in time, he was very flexible and he was constantly trying to ensure that we had what we needed and that we got as much as we could from the trip. I too can recommend Mohamed Bahaa as a very good guide in egypt.I went to sharm el shiekh with my wife for 10 days and decided to take in cairo but rather than doing the 1 day trip that most people do, I decided to do it over two days so I could meet up with some freinds who were coming from el gouna.
Mohomed met us promptly at the airport with his driver in an air-conditioned bus. Mohomed orgainsed all the excursions and lunches plus accomadation at the Le Meridian Pyramid hotel for the 4 of us. I found Mohamed to be a very nice and well educated man. I would recommend seeing cairo this way as it saves a lot of hassle plus you have your own guide and can change the itinery as you go along if you wish.If you wish to contact Mohamed here are his details:

I too can recommend Mohamed Bahaa as a very good guide.we stayed in Giza at the Le Meridien for
four days Mohammed arranged our tour to Luxor,flights and tour sites,he picked us up at 0.400 from the hotel so that we could make the 0.5.25 plane to Luxor,on arrival at Luxor we were met by a driver and a learned guide(air-conditioned car),we went to The Valley of the Kings,Karnak,etc.etc,when we arrived back in Cairo Mohammed was there to take us back to Giza,it all went as smooth as silk.On the day of our return to London,Mohammed was there 20 minutes before the arranged time.We had a great time and was only sorry we were not staying longer,a case of so much to see and not enough time.We are going back to egypt in 2010 and have e-mailed Mohammed to say as soon as we have firmed up our dates we will contact him to arrange some tours for us.He is a gentleman,honest,and speaks fluent English.If you are going to Eygpt,( Cairo) do yourself a power of good and contact him.

I also used Mohamed Bahaa for a day trip & a half day trip in November 2009. I used him because he was recommended by a friend & also because I sent a lot of emails to various guides and was disappointed with the results - some did not reply, others just sent their standard Cairo tour and some were so hard to understand, I got instantly turned off.
This was my fourth trip to Cairo and I had a specific itinerary (in Islamic Cairo) which I had outlined in my email, I was so relieved to read Mohameds reply and he tweaked my day to flow better adding little things that he knew I would like based on our emails. I could not have been more pleased with my tours, he is easy going and nothing was too much trouble, best of all he makes it YOUR day and you feel like he is a friend showing you his home town, such a different experience. I am going to use him for all my future trips to Cairo. Make sure you get him to take you to the ironing shop where the man irons with his "foot", that was so much fun & I even got to try.

We have just returned from our trip to Egypt. We spent five very interesting days in Cairo. I researched a lot before we went and decided it would probably suit our needs best to hire a guide for the time we were in Cairo. On Nef's recommendations I contacted Mohamed Bahaa and also a number of other guides recommended here on trip adviser. I found that Mohamed Bahaa was very quick to answer and advise on suggestions we made about how we would like to plan our days in Cairo. So we decided to use him as our guide.

I think this was the best decision we could have made. He taylor made the five days for us that we spent in Cairo. We were keen to see and experience the "real Egypt" and have a chance to find out about the culture, as well, of course to see the famous tourist attraction.

Mohamed ensured we more than fulfilled our plans . He took us to and told us about places that we would have never gone without him. We felt completely safe the whole time he was with us, which meant we could enjoy the atmosphere and the places we visited. I think at times we became the attraction when we walked around the backstreets of Cairo with Mohamed, where tourist do not usually go!

I must also praise the driver of the mini bus that Mohamed had organised to transport us round Cairo. He was very friendly and helpful. The transport was comfortable and the driving was very good, not once were we worried about being driven round Cairo.

Mohamed was very thoughtful and caring. He looked after us very well while we were in Cairo. I would recommend him as a tour guide if you really want to experience Egypt. His contact details are :

Hello, we spent a day in cairo on our trip to Egypt in Jan 2010. we were going to fly to cairo from sharm and i had been searching intesivley for a reasonable package from sharm to cairo for a one day tour and came accross M.Bahaa while surfing, i emailed him with all my requirements and he replied to me in no time and offered me a really good package which i was not getting anywhere. furthermore he also arranged our flights from Sharm to cairo return as well and was very helpful.

The tour day itself was amazing and Bahaa was as good as I h ad read in the reviews even better. The day was great and we had lots to see, the good thing was that with Bahaa we could do what we want unlike a preplanned tour which meant we had to do as they said, we stopped whever we wanted, we spent time at each place according to our needs and that was very good. All in all it was a great day out and i would definately reccemmond Brother Bahaa if you are looking for a good trip.
