I can't seem to find a definitive list of the opening hours to the monuments. Does anyone know of a link to this information, preferably Luxor sites and Giza and Cairo area sites.

In Luxor everything opens at 6am and closes at 4 in winter and 5 in summer. Ramadan is of course special and they lose well in time for Iftar. That is the official answer but you may find them closing earlier/later depending on how they feel. The 6am opening is consistent through.

BUT they will not let a tourist go across the bridge from the East Bank or the cross roads on the West Bank before 6am so you have to waste a bit of time there.
